cv19 has got another casualty with the retirement of kyle.known more as a close checking backman he will always be remembered for kicking the winning goal after the siren against perth to deny them a spot in the finals in 2018.in fact most of his 16 goals were aginst perth when he was allowed to play forward with injuries to key forwards.i suspect he won't be the last retirement if the season gets cancelled.

Interesting development. Fair player who will always be in my memory for that mark on the siren in 2018.

Might be the first of a few of the older fellas pulling the pin on a season they may train for but no play in.

Everyone remembers players from their past and some currents will live long in folks thoughts, for me shaggy Anderson is someone who will always walk tall at East Perth.

He was hard but honest abt what he did both on and off the field. He was a captain of the club but more than that he was a supporter of the talent coming through!

I look forward to the next life members lunch with Noddy, Brian McGregor and Shags.

Thanks Kyle!

Absolute champion. Underrated. Watched him very closely when working with an AFL club and he was rarely beaten.

and yes I don't think he'll be the last either

Thx abt the Veide thing, had not heard that.

I suspect that Sharrods employer may have and I say 'may' cos I am guessing, have had a word in the shell like!

The interesting thing for the club is that it nows frees up points for them to seek other players and I reckon that there will be a bit of bun fight developing over one and as of todays worst 2 WCE players. Both of whom enjoyed their time in the alignment even it was a forced marriage.

Interesting times ahead!

Grump,

Im sure the WAFC enforced a "no recruiting from other WAFL clubs" ban ???

Does the WCE wafl side count! It would appear not if you believe the Perth thread!
