Just re-name him Barry Hall, and the MRP will twist in to knots to let him off.

Or may be they will look at his record for earlier this season, and act according to their own rules.

Or may be they will seek guidance from the WAFL MRP.

Both should be suspended , you don't change the rules because it's a GF, Shiels was playing well and so was GWS before he was concussed and out for the rest of the game.

Common sense prevails. Rubbing blokes out for trying to win the ball is a line in the sand call for me...it's either australian footy or another sport completely I will not support if we want blokes to stop going the ball

Of more import is who the player is. IF it had been Ballantyne in the same circumstances it would have been rated: head high contact, deliberate and severe 3-4 weeks.
