In my opinion they have always overrated their list and think they are in the premiership window hence looking for players to top them up to go the next step when in reality they were off the pace. Carlton will be next cab off the rank to part ways with Brendan Bolton.

Very brave of you dick dynasty to finger Bolton when then biggest coaching hoax in the history of the AFL has parked at your club. At least North had the balls to stand up and make a decision. Best recruiting in the off season, transitioning AFL players to Wafl is a sport for Ross.

I don't wish to rain on your parade here tuggers but if you go over to the Freo thread and have a look at the last post on Taberner you'll see DD is critical of Lyon....so not sure exactly where you're coming from.

Actually his record is 51% wins which is a lot more than many other sacked coaches..

Surely it puts pressure on Freo, pretty sure without looking at stats that Lyons record is way worse than Scott. Especially the last 3 years. Brave move by North Melbourne. Dockers board certainly lacks the courage to make a big call.

Some talk around the traps that the Roo's might try and attract Adam Simpson back from WA. Not sure why Simmo would want to leave the Eagles where he has built an excellent team to go to a bottom four club where he would have to start again, I know he used to play for them and he may want another coaching challenge. Better off staying here I reckon.
