Real up and down season but what I’ve always felt is we haven’t had any real gorillas on a consistent basis for a while since Angus Brandt left. Other clubs seem to have at least one 7 footer, we don’t seem to put a lot of stock in them, I mean it is basketball where the tallest man has an obvious advantage. Sydney highlighted our weaknesses in those areas last night. Tai Webster looks like he’s going to be a great pick up and older brother Cory is humming along nicely.

I don't follow basketball that closely but it appears to me that the Wildcats have lost that aura they had when Jack Bendat owned the club. An amazing record of 35 finals appearances in a row, which is unprecedented in professional sport was broken last year and it appears to me the team is just run of the mill now with an over reliance on a few players particularly Bryce Cotton who seems to score a truck load of points when they have a win.
