Finally justice has been served and the Wildcats have been crowned NBL Champions and Bryce Cotton named GF MVP. Kings feel denied the opportunity to win it in 5 but in the circumstances that is the only possible outcome. They could have travelled and played game 4 and the Wildcats would have travelled to Sydney if they had to to play game 5.

The right call has been made to announce the Perth Wildcats as this seasons Champions.
Whats that now DD 10 Titles for the PW?...not too mention 34 straight years of Finals, incredible club.

8 out of the last 11 GF's and 6 titles...fantastic effort...thank God the NBL is not run by the WAFC as they'd be placing equalisation sanctions on the Wildcats.

Yes BC a really well run totally professional organisation with a culture of success that attracts good players who crave success and want to play finals.

We got a bit lucky there were 3 finals played otherwise I got a feeling that trophy would be sitting in Sydney right about now mate

Nah mate I reckon we would have wrapped it up here at home in Perth and taken the series 3-1 anyways.
Sydney knew it as their trumpcard Bogut was cooked and they pulled out the forfeit due to being scared of travelling due to the coronavirus card hoping the NBL would then declare them winners due to finishing on top at the end of the H&A season but it backfired in their face as the NBL rightly declared us the champs being 2-1 up and having played 2 of those away to the Kings who had home court advantage.

Yep I think so too but geez thank christ the finals got started otherwise it would have been the top finishing side who got the Bacon mate

the finals were best of 3 for a long time until TV/NBL wanted best of 5 for more money so that may have been taken into consideration ... maybe?
