Bring back Chris Waterman. That was a great couple of years when the WAFL was actually a competition and Subi was Perth’s bitch. ??
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

I think based on skill and fitness we have lost nothing from last year, Clang only played a handful of games, it will come down to hunger after such sustained success, if they can maintain that we will be hard to beat. Other teams will definitely improve so closer games and a few more losses are on the cards, but have a long way to make up the gap in skills, strength and fitness.

I'm really looking forward to see how Ryan Borchet and Michael Braut go with a big pre-season under their belts. These two could be huge for us in 2020 and given they're both still only 22 could be absolute WAFL superstars in time if they don't get picked up by the AFL clubs.

Oh well DD even Subi make mistakes, but way less than some clubs. Waterman was a complete dud as a coach.

Borchet we know is a class act and Braut's final series was terrific. If they show the same progress this year anythings possible. Braut is built like Tarzan and plays like Tarzan. With Sok not being drafted, it does limit Borch a bit as Sok often lines up at FF, would like to see Borch permanently at FF and Sok given free range to roam the forward line. Borch could easily play CHF as well. Wonder what the coach will do with harry Marsh given he played up forward in the finals and did ok, still think he's better suited on a wing.

Looking forward to the pre-season games to see who they will try out and in what positions.

I'd like to see Gus Litherland pushed up the ground a bit more too. He's got a big tank and his ability to carry through the middle would be a real weapon. Marsh is an interesting one...kicked 3 goals in the GF but didn't have a whole lot of opposition. Big bodied and very strong would make it hard to match up on in the forward line.

What will 2020 bring?

Sadly not a lot when looking into the crystal ball.
I can see further dwindling crowd numbers :( Qualifying round attendances have fallen off the cliff in seasons twenty 16, 17, 18 and last season was u/s also.
Very poor mainstream media coverage to continue. Although the all too few stations remaining and broadcastin Wafl are doing a good job.
Wish I could be more upbeat and not be portrayed as Mr Glum, but you know how it is.

Most of the backline could play a role up forward. Gus usually sneaks forward for a goal or two and has that booming kick, Aaron Heal has played forward on occasions and also pinch hit in the ruck. I will be interested to see if Jacob Miller can get back to his 2018 form as he is another who could play further up the ground eventually. Also Jakob Atkinson showed a few patches at the end of last season as a tall forward. Will also be interested to see which of the younger players can break into the side this year with an eye to the future. The Hickmott brothers and a few others would be hoping to take the next step this season. Also looking forward to see the two recruits from the pilbara and how they go.

It’s true, our Prez made it very clear that PFC were against the changes.
If the rule changes are being used as a motivational tool within the club then I think it only fair that the situation be discussed accurately and that, as TN suggests, it not be brought into play against us.
So the drovers dog might say ok boys beat these guys by slightly less than you would have done if they had supported the rule changes.
Good point TN.

Get out of their arse you blokes, these rules were brought in for obvious reasons. Its the WAFC's way of saying they deal under the table but this will keep the wolves from the door if we are seen to be doing something. The rules are minimal anyway, this will not effect $ubi one little bit !

Gotta love it when a Joondy supporter criticises another team for alleged dodgy accounting/financial practices, nothing alleged about Joondy's practices.
