Well done to De Luca on his winning debut with Carlton....great to see perseverance pay off in search of your dream....reckon Lyon has pulled the pin on too many guys careers at Freo before their time, whilst persisting with others who were average players on and off the park.. ....

Spot on Freez. Deluca always looked likely to get another chance somewhere and I think Carlton are a good fit. He's still young and will learn a lot from the likes of Cripps and Murphy as inside mids. As for Freo's list management team....you've said enough there already I reckon.

And they delisted Sam Collins at the end of 2017, only for him to be picked up by Gold Coast for the 2019 season. Mark my words what a success this will be.

Yes mate...Chris was a very good player in his own right and won premiership medals in 2014 and 2015. He then went off and played ammos with Scarborough. I believe he's now in Melbourne and playing for one of the local sides over there. He's still only 24 or thereabouts and would love to get him back to Subi but not to be I guess.

Deluca been delisted by Carlton....thought he did ok in the games he played since being picked up mid year....not sure if that is it for the guy AFL wise....handy pick up for Subi in 2020.....no doubt he will be pushing for Sandover honours next year if playing in the WAFL....

Seems strange Freezin he also seemed to be very popular with team mates and fans. Hopefully comes back home to Subi, god knows they need him now the WAFC has taken the big stick to Subiaco. Would be tragic if Subi slip to second and miss out on a threepeat. Gavin can you slip in another clause? If any Subiaco AFL listed players get delisted they must play for Perth? ?

Oh, and good to see Subiaco’s doorman back on the beat. ?
Get on your bike.

He is still training with Carlton apparently and doing the preseason. Thought he may have got a contract for a year but still training with them suggests he is on their radar to be either relisted or rookie listed.
Anyway keeps him front of mind for other AFL clubs.
Just hope for the kids sake that Carlton's preseason work is up there with that of Subiaco.

To be honest Oooll, all Deluca has to do is spend the preseason shadowing Paddy Cripps and he will become elite in no time....

DD...I reckon the doorman is gonna have to let a lot of this same old same old Derek Pringle pie throwing stuff, go through to the keeper mate....tempting as it may be to have a giggle at some of the stuff getting tossed up....
