Ark, I'll take a guess at four.
Jack Leckie (who played for Fitzroy in the VFA pre 1897)
Haydn Bunton senior
Seff Parry
Dan Murray (father of Kevin)

They have had a few ex Hawthorn players coach there as well- David Parkin, Brian Douge, Gary Buckenara.

AD and BH --- you educated me, I only had Bunton and Murray. Me thinks Murray had a good year, BH, before losing out to your beloved SD in the finals.

And Subi has also had a couple of St Kilda people as coach, Beas.
Alan Killigrew and Ross Smith immediately spring to mind.

Ark, the arrival of Jack Leckie at Subiaco from South Fremantle (having left Victoria years ago) was of immediate benefit with the Maroons winning the 1915 premiership.
However, Leckie displaced Phil Matson as coach, resulting in Phil eventually joining East Perth in 1918.
The rest is history.

AD I have contemplated the fact that we lost Phil Matson to your mighty Royals over the years, consolling myself with th thought that he buildt a great side, and, in addition, we did recruit the great man from North Fremantle ourselves.

Fair point, Ark, Phil Matson had more clubs than the average golfer carries in his bag.
Claremont B-team (pre Tigers' WAFL days), West Perth, South Bunbury, Boulder City, Sturt, North Fremantle, Subiaco, East Perth, Castlemaine and then back to East Perth.

AD -- yes, Matso is loved at both clubs; other Fitzroy players were Mark Zanotti and David Rhodes, whom played state football for Victoria before he came over to us.
