The crabs haven't been the worse going around so far this season and with McCarthy and Blakely returning from injury as possible inclusions this game won't be a stroll in the park. We might see Latham or even Joyce coming in for the likes of Beverley who didn't have an impact against the WaCkERs...either of those 2 will give added rebound. Big Sean "Telegram for Mongo" Darcy will give them first use so we'll have to work hard to pressure the ball carrier into turnovers and attack off half back. For mine I think we'll get over the line but not by much....Subi by 24 pts.

McCarthy will come straight into the Fremantle side BC. Blakely will definitely play at least a couple of games in the WAFL. The player I would put some time into for Peel is Blair Bell. How this guy isn't playing AFL is beyond me. Peel are top heavy so the way to beat them is with run. Subi has always been a running machine so I suspect you will get hold of them there.

Good points DD although I don't think Bell will get as much space as he has in previous weeks up against Lockyer, Litherland, Heal, Clark, Kennedy and maybe Harry Marsh. Subi's defence has only given up an average of 45 points per game so far this year so reckon Peel will find it much harder to hit the scoreboard. In saying that, we haven't exactly set the world on fire in offence either so could be a low scoring affair unless Sokol, Waters, Borchet, or Delahunty go berserk.

DD's right about Bell, one of the best WAFL players going around and always seems to get a bag against us, very quick and a strong body. Gus would be the one to run with him, he has the ability to shut a player down while still getting some good disposals. As for our forwards, all they need to do is kick straight, not including Waters who has been our best forward. If we can get the forwards back to 60-70% conversions then we will be more like previous high scoring teams. I think Clang is still 2 -3 weeks away so we may have to persist with Sutherland, if Darcy plays then a big body Like Sutherland will be needed to at least give some physical presence as Darcy wont have to face Zac Clarke any more and will dominate the stoppages.

Big Darcy must be getting close to being called up by Freo. I don't think Lobb enjoys the ruck all that much and using the two in tandem would be hard to match up on....anyway...more importantly, I don't think using Dela and Clang as pinch hitters in the ruck is ideal given how effective they were last year as full time forwards so we might need to persist with Sutherland in the short term or until one of the other talls such as Chapman puts his hand up.

we might just get over the line in a close game. Perhaps they can play Chapman and Sutherland in the ruck, resting in the back pocket so as to try and contain PA's big forwards. I agree 100 per cent that we need our best footballers in the forward line.

I see in the AFL teams lists that Cam McCarthy and Ryan Nyhuis are ins for the Dockers so outs for Peelmantle, Brennan Cox has been dropped so he's a big in for the Crabs, balancing Mccarthy and so far Darcy has not been called up but remains an emergency along with Cox for the Dorks. So should be a similar strength peel team to last weeks who struggled to get over the Gummies.

Warm day will test each teams endurance but hopefully players can demonstrate the skills, certainly would be nice to see us kick straighter, our goal shooting has been abysmal. Cant see us doing much better at the stoppages as Darcy is a better ruckman than the WCER boys from last week who did very well, the mids will have to adjust to that or we will be reactive not proactive at stoppages.

Subi by 32pts.

Good to see Simon Moore named in the 22. Let's hope the forwards have a bigger impact this week given the fine weather compared to last game.

Well...that was much better. Some elite ball movement down the ground and tackling pressure was immense. Our backs stood tall again with the same names like Lockyer, Litherland, Heal, Clark, Kennedy, Braut getting the job done week in week out. Mids were good although I thought Kitch turned it over a bit and Deluca was a monster on the contested ball. Newton good, Horse excellent, Maxy Walters looked to have more clearances than anyone on the park. Dela playerd his part, Rhys Waters a standout and Soks hit the scoreboard finally this week. A special mention for courage to young Borchet who collided heavily with a point post and I thought was definitely done for the day but courageously soldiered on after a bit of a spell. Fimmano looked to dislocate his shoulder but hopefully it won't be anything long term. I thought I heard Harry Marsh say he's back next week which will be a bonus up at Bogandean. All in all a good solid win and a bit of a return to form.
