I see our preseason games start with East Perth at Leederville on thursday March 14 at 5.15pm then Swans at Basso on saturday March 23 at 3.30pm and completed with South Freo at Leederville on saturday March 30 at 4.30pm.

Cheers Jjim. Unfortunately I'll be overseas for the preseason and also round 1...so make sure you give the mighty Lions an extra cheer for me.

Same for me BC off to the AGP then onto sheepshaggers land, must get in touch with Freeze for a catchup over a lamb chop and a few neck oils, I'm sure he'll have some in his chullybun.

You'll be closer to home than me SS...I'm 'orf to Northern Ireland, Iceland, Faroes, Shetland, Orkney Islands then across to Basel in Switzerland followed by Portugal and Spain. A bit of a mixed bag I know but the missus and I have travelled quite a bit through Europe so going to places still on the bucket list...can't wait....for another Subi flag that is.

Enjoy your travels guys. I will try to get to as many of these as possible and post my thoughts here. Looking forward to having the footy back after a frustrating summer of cricket. Will be interested to see how we structure up without Zac Clarke and who pushes thru from the premiership winning colts team.

Given the only major loss is Clarke it will be tough for any new blood to come in, depends on how much hunger the senior group still have and the pre-season form, I expect the new coach may be very keen to bring on some of his boys from the colts that he so successfully mentored.
