Only change from last week is Newton out with a broken jaw and probably Greg Clark in after recovering from concussion. Brander, Allen, Liam Ryan in for WCE which should help our cause a bit. Hopefully, we improve on last weeks effort and win by about 24 points.

I was thinking more like 50 points. I heard Schofield was unhappy after last weeks game and I think rightly so. Really hoping Subiaco pick up the same efficiency in this match they displayed at seasons beginning. Their scoring accuracy has been great so far. That flew out the window last week. I'm sure that would have been a concern, and likely that's been worked on since the East Fremantle game.

What a good result.
Sounded like Subiaco were a bit slow in the first quarter. They started to get on top in the second term and didn't look back from there.

Yep...west coast had a very defensive game plan and only 1 team was ever going to win. they were never going to get blown off the park like last time but you don't win too many footy matches kicking just 7 goals. it made for a pretty unexciting game as it was one on one defensive footy with them putting large numbers behind the ball. Subi struggled to run and carry which turned into kick the kick between half backlines. their mids broke even with ours but we were a bit more efficient up forward with more targets. all in all uninspiring stuff but another W in the results column I guess. Subi turned the ball over quite a bit too with skill errors which Schofield won't be happy with but Subi's 65 inside 50's to 31 tells the tale.

The better team won and deservedly so! I don't think that it would have changed the result but having one eagle who could only play 40 minutes and another who had to go off to change his shorts on a regular basis was a little limiting, as I said better teams win!
