This is really tricky.There was a time when what was played on the field stayed on the field.
Deluka just didn't racially abuse him for nothing you would think.They must of been at each other during the game.Also one would think it would be difficult to upset a Subi player with the way there smashing there opponent's.

As PN pointed out Asia is a continent, Asian is a race classification.

To break it down further
Race refers to a person's physical characteristics, such as bone structure and skin, hair, or eye colour.
Ethnicity refers to cultural factors, including nationality, regional culture, ancestry, and language.

It is possible to be Asian (race) with Chinese heritage (ethnicity) and Australian (nationality).

I’d be classified as causcasian (race) with Irish and English heritage and Australian (nationality) but my Irish and English heritage is a fair way back so I’d identify as Australian as my ethnicity.

Australian is certainly an ethnic group which was established on the back of WWI.

Chinese Australian is an ethnic group, along with English Australian, Greek Australian, Indegenous Australian and huge number of other variations in our extremely multicultural society.
