God imagine if Subi actually had something to complain about, they would be insufferable. Well more insufferable if possible.

I guess if the club gets the penalty reduced on appeal then my views are vindicated...if they don't then you were right and I'm wrong....but one thing's for sure...he won't be doing it again you'd think....if Yu gives him the shits next time around my advice to Deluca is to give him a whack...that way he only get a week as someone else pointed out.

If the quote from Capes is correct, Subi are trying to argue that it wasn't a racial slur but ethnic vilification?

Unsure who is providing Subi with their advice on this matter but Asian is definitely a race classification, not a classification of ethnicity.

Either way racial and ethnic vilification are both covered under racial vilification law. He has vilified the player, who has taken offence to the term used. The only other test it needs to pass is the 'reasonable victim' test.

The 3 match ban handed out by the WAFL is the minimum penalty for a first offence under its racial and religious inappropriate conduct guidelines.

Seems pretty straight forward, see you in 4 weeks time

I have expressed my admiration for soob on here many times as the G7 club that can consistently take it up to the afl aligned cheats. I had imagined they must be doing something right. If what you are saying is true TT they are clearly just buffoons who happen to have a lot of money. More dollars than sense.

Think poining to the scoreboard and not saying anything is a better bet BC....more often than not Subi are ahead on the scoreboard....silence is golden they say.... definitely won't do it again if he gets 3 weeks....should of been 4 TBH.....then he would miss the EF game...LOL

So if he had deleted the word C.... and just called him an Asian, is it still the same.

If a single word referencing ones race, ethnicity, religion or gender etc was said in a derogatory nature then it could be considered vilification.

And if he'd called him a jolly good fellow probably wouldn't be racial abuse but he didn't did he Unks.

Considering DeLuca has been in the wafl and afl system for a number of years if he had half a brain he would know what he can’t say on a footy field.
He is allowed a number of abusive words to call his opponent if he wishes, maybe he could write them all out and learn before his next game.
