Thanks Gents.

Find it difficult to believe that Subi would ask to go up against an Eagles or Dockers game.

Both teams should be able to get 500 loyal supporters along though. no excuss for not having 1000.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

I reckon 400 exclusive of the pie lady the bar and gate staff the players from all three grades and the Mr Whippy van man.

Weather didn't help for sure but let's face it we just don't have any supporters. Besides with the AFL roadshow in town it was always going to be the case.

That 500 total attendance is unbelievable! Given the fact there is a population of approximately 1.3 million people in the metro area, and we heard only 500 people visited the ground for a league match. That's like saying only 0.003% of the population were at the ground.

Subi at least showed a bit in the 1st 1/4 but it wasn't reflected on the scoreboard.
The endevour was definatly there.

2nd average, 3 & 4 a bit better than 2nd 1/4.

We got a bit of the pill (same as last week) but once again our delivery and decision making was absolute rubbish !!!

We also have half a dozen players or more who just aren't committed to a contest.
Give them a rest and start rotating players up like we did this week (Waters,Wortho,Stevo etc) and see if something can work???

At the moment we look like wooden spooners and on current form aren't a chance against the Bulldogs if we play like we have been lately.

Not enough entrys into 50 for my liking.

Parker/Wheeler battled hard in the ruck against the odds. Randall/Rumble had a crack down back and Bristow/Moore/Hampson were having a go through the middle.

We seem to be getting a case of stats-o-mania where some guys look like they are playing better at the end of the night as their stats look reasonable ???

Time to not look at the stats as much and see who want's to have a go and give 100%. There was afew blokes on friday night that didn't go in hard enough after the 1st quarter and that is a worry.

Time for the coach to pull a rabbit out of the hat and wake up a few of the blokes playing like one.

Interested to see how we respond against the Dogs next week.

Not sure where you got your population figures from westaussieguy but I think you will find the current population of Greater Perth is approximately 1.9 million which then also makes that % of people attending the game even smaller than 0.003%!

Bloody hell that is a shocker, that must be some sort of a record, is there anything on the records for an attendance that low, once the full host club thing starts next year ,,, it's looking pretty bad, basically the only people going are the players, officials mums and dads and staff.

Silvagni apparently a nasty ankle injury as well as Blackwell, Seaby and Bradshaw, apparently no bench in the last quarter. There were a few for Subiaco as well. The West reckon there was only 500 there? Probably an experiment that Subiaco won't be repeating

Anyone with half a brain could have told them they were not going to get more people than that at the game, it is dumbfounding!!!!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Without making excuses I think the rain had a lot to do with it. I went but could not find one mate who wanted to brave the weather. Most wanted to stay home or go to the pub to watch the Dockers.

Can you imagine most people getting home and it's pissing down, saying hmmm Medibank Stadium and get soaked and watch a one sided game or stay dry have a few beers and watch a cracking AFL game??

NO CONTEST

Why not have it on a Saturday avo? Lets face it Friday night games don't work for WAFL. They don't work at Freo Oval or Medibank - next year WAFC forget Friday night games.
