I heard Subi was negotiating Wafl seats at the new Stadium. For the G7 clubs.

Wouldn't that be great, but ...dreamin'
Imagine how "hands on hips" the 2 AFL giants would be if anyone dared take seats off them!!

Senior has the WAFC negociated 1000 seats for each match. With the state Government. To break the deadlock in negotiations over the new stadium.Subi would know how to run it.

GTR, I thought that all seats were allocated to the AFL clubs, then to Stadium members, then just 6000 gen admission tickets. It would seem to be a no brainer that some seats get allocated to the 7 WAFL clubs to help shore up club finances, but remember, the reason Subi's members seats have been so successful is due to long term ownership of their own facilities at Subi which allowed for package deals/visiting club functions etc. Not sure how much more than the seat sales the clubs would glean from such a deal, but 100 seats each at say $40 each would provide each club a tidy potential $88k ... thats if the seats were provided gratis.

Here is two certainties: Top spot and a reduced bank balance.

GTR - just for the record this is what I said about what will 2018 bring for Subiaco. I trust the mis-quoting was a typo.

Congrats to Ryan, Ainsworth, Hayden and Miller getting drafted. I suspect there might be a couple more with Baker and maybe Halligan getting rookie drafted. It's going to hurt seeing Liam Ryan playing in EP colours when not suiting up for the Beags but that's footy I guess....btw...I'm ignoring rookie draft as his team is an illegitimate child of an AFL side and doesn't and never has been part of the WAFL since it's original inception.

To be honest BC I would hope that Liam will play a lot of AFL next year and not so much for East Perth. The Eagles certainly need a player with his ability to mark and kick goals and be an 'X' factor for them in the forward line. Will depend on how he goes in pre- season but I reckon there is definitely a spot there for him and he is good enough no doubt. Certainly was a great draft for Subiaco in general.

I trust, at least in relation to Ryan, EP supporters won't get on here and claim that they are hard done by because the Eagles recruit badly. We should not complain too much as he was originally from EF. However, as a Subi supporter, it was not a good day for the club.
