BC,

I have the best example of your $$$ dominance and how it works in your favour. Im not sure if you are aware of whats called the 40 protected list ??? Im going to tell you anyway. Every club has a list of 40 of there most valuable players that other clubs can't approach. You will no doubt recall the Sutherland shambles by Perth who missed him off their protected list and $ubi pounced on him which they are completely within their rights too.

Around 15 of $ubi's best players are not on their 40 list, absolute ludicrously I hear you all say, how can the best side in the competition possibly leave off around 15 of there better players for all clubs to have a crack at obtaining. Is it the love for the club ? Horse shit !!! I have a fair idea that it would be based around the size of the brown paper bags. Make no mistake, its bloody clever by $ubi to turn their 40 list into 50+ and add some up and comers to the list that may be considering a move due to lack of opportunity but don't kid yourselves, money can only make this work effectively.

That is 100% correct Leedy, all the G6 clubs know it and know exactly why, hence why I threw up the stat rgarding Subi have only lost 2 players to other WAFL clubs whilst poaching 30 from the other WAFL clubs in the last 5 years alone, it is now just up to the WAFC to actually start doing the job they are paid to do and sort this rorting out but fat chance when you have ex Subi employees now in roles at the WAFC!

That is spot on BH, this situation with the 40 list is a dead set massive red flag and the WAFC turn a blind eye and will continue to do so as it has highlighted their incompetence in spades. I am almost certain they have planned to let it go through to the keeper as the seating arrangement ends this season and the way $ubi operate is not sustainable for the foreseeable future, the well will start to run dry around 2021-2023.

BC wrote: It makes perfect sense to me...why wouldn't you leave your highest paid and most valuable players off the list to protect the up an coming others? The best on the list should be contractually locked in and I would say other clubs are doing exactly the same thing for the same reasons and if they're not then they should be....so what's your point? and BH...you've listed those30 and there's a few A graders there but some spuds as well. If I could be bothered I'd go through a similar exercise with your mob and it would probably surprise you...but as I said...if I could be bothered which frankly I can't.

Leedy...if what you're saying is correct then how can all the noise in the last couple of years from you clowns around Subi approaching Troppo from Perth and Davis from Swans be correct if they're on the protected list unless you blokes are bullshitting? Maybe all clubs do the same...sorry Leedy...there's no-one on WP list worth having a go at. In saying that, I think Madge in the food shop does a mean burger but that's about it.

BC,

Trust me its common knowledge if you look hard enough, I have known for some time but didn't want to bring it up as I knew it would break your hearts :) The answer to your question is exactly what TF's response was, those instances $ubi would have gone through the correct channels and signed the appropriate forms to contact the likes of Tropiano etc. BTW, what happened to Sutherland in the Reserves GF ??? If he was dropped he would be on a growing list of disappointed big men, JD's boy was another that was enticed, promised the world and tossed out like an old Footy Budget.

Last post from me on this one, cant be bothered with your envy laden woe is me dribble. Why don't you go back to your own festering hole of a club and admire that taxpayer funded facility being given to you and give yourself a good pat on the back or whatever other self pleasuring activity you Joondy buttyboys enjoy the most.

Glad to hear SS, on behalf of the other G6 clubs, I look forward to you blokes dying a slow death, it may take 3-5 years to absorb the current funds but it will happen. You can't pull the wool over our eyes mate, maybe the WAFC but not us :)

Instead of coming on here and talking crap and running Subi down why don't you head back to the jerker thread and start talking about ways you're going to make your club get better....oh...and btw...we have a Future Fund which has a substantial amount of coin in it to make sure we stay financially viable going forward....so good luck with your assertion that we'll be struggling in 3-5 years....it ain't gunna happen.

While I was here, I should have welcomed OzF's newest member, Montaż anteny Śląsk , from Poland.

Which reminds me of a great Subi supporter, and former workmate of BC and me - Tugger Tully. His lovely wife (Mrs Tugger) was of Polish descent, and used to serve up a decent glass of Slivovitz in the good old days in Shenton Park. :woohoo:

Yep - Shenton Park. Suggest you grab your old school atlas, and it may make even more sense. ;)
