Rioli was pretty good in the SANFL this season,he also played state footy for SA.

17 other clubs also rated other players ahead of Ryan.
Ryan will get rookie listed somewhere.

Unusual for someone to reply to their own quote but now that I think about it more Ian Richardson kicked 65 goals as a 20 yo in a side that finished second bottom and had no interest from the afl system so it makes sense that there was no interest in Ryan.

Shane Yarran was overlooked after his first year which was outstanding. I think any mature aged player with any question marks over him clubs are prepared to wait to see if they back it up the following year.

More to it than just taking a handful of screamers and kicking a few freaky gls I suppose

He is not big enough as was made clear in the grand final.

Great news for Subi that Liam has not been taken in today's AFL rookie draft, bit unfortunate for him but all things considered he was probably a year away anyway. As seen with Shane Yarran, Liam still has time on his side.

Can't wait to see him killing it out there for Subi again in 2017!

Agree Lions Den, he is another guy worth going to the footy to watch and is still only nineteen so has plenty of time to go to the afl. Looking forward to more than a few mark of the day contenders again in '17.
