unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it I'm flying to Europe on Saturday night and the missus would kill me if I knicked off to the footy and left her to sort out the house....on the other hand....

Lucky you BC, whereabouts in Europe are you heading? Have a great time

cheers Mike....flying into Edinburgh for a week driving around Scotland then onto Vienna for a few days before heading off to Poland and Russia. From what I can gather it's still bloody cold over there so will need my heavy Subi jacket, Subi scarf and Subi beanie. I'll spread the gospel of the mighty maroon and gold whilst there and might even take some selfies at Loch Ness, Auschwitz and the Kremlin all kitted up which is not something you see every day. B)

I'm also bringing a mate for his first game, and possibly another who still follows Subi but hasn't been to a game since the 93GF. His health ain't real good so hopefully the day works out

Lockyer out big loss for this game with south's forward line. Good to see Stevo, Woody & Creeper named in the magoos

Lockyer is a massive out for us, probably the form CHB in the comp, I see they have named Heal at CHB, not a bad move, he's very disciplined and consistent, great spoiler like Locks, so while not quite in Locks class he will do a good job. It was either him or Clang going to CHB so this keeps Clang in the mids where the game will be won.

Waters, Hay, Kennedy, Ryan & Moore added to the list. You'd think Waters is a straight swap for Halligan, although Moore is listed in the starting 18 and has been in top form in the 2's so he may get in before Waters. Boges would be stiff to lose his spot after his good game against the Boguns.

Kennedy would have to come back in as tagger for Duckdown Hams, so the selectors have a tough job and it will come down to getting the matchups right.

My other Bro's up from Dunsborough so getting him along as well.

Sokol has arrived! 7.2 against his old club must have been oh so sweet. With Ham Shepard chipping in with 3 despite being well held for most of game, Sokol was brilliant taking some big marks and definitely had his kicking boots on. Was sitting in the outer with Sokols family and they said he couldn't be happier with his new club and they are all signed up as premium members. They were delighted to see him given an opportunity to play league after being given nothing at Souths.

Kitch was a ball magnet as usual, Robbo also had plenty of it and Cockie came in like a wrecking ball as usual but got caught at least twice holding the ball trying to break through tackles. Horse had a quiet one by his standards, Twomey was given a run up forward which was interesting, I look forward to seeing him back in defense next week. Della was superb yet again around the ground so too was Clanger despite both being outgunned in the ruck. Clanger did well to fight on after being dropped twice in the opening 5min by sucker punches by Marlon Pickett.

Looking through the stats from the game there is one that stands out like Swans supporter at a jobs expo.
The free kick count. 28-10 against Subiaco, at three quarter time it was 21-6 against us. How is this possible? Are we that undisciplined? From memory we had 6 frees in the first quarter then nothing until well into the final quarter. That's 2 quarters without a single free kick. If these guys did this against Swans at basso their safety would genuinely be at risk.
