Yes we are downplaying our lads a bit but it's what we've seen on the park that leads us to do that. On paper yes we have a better more experienced list but on form it has to be Souths with their noses in front. Like I said if Subi can put 4 solid qtrs together and our forwards can click we will win, otherwise its anyone's guess.

Yes BC this is my dream gig and am so happy I will get to fix the 'speilling mustakes' of others for once. Was happy to contribute when asked considering we near on lost this site recently. Whilst I'm still dirty on Subi poaching my fave player Robbo a couple of season's back you'll be happy to know I won't be holding you Subi blokes personally responsible for that. funnily enough DW, Robbo was one of my favourite opposition players while he was at Swans as I just loved the way he went about it... so really chuffed to see him in maroon and gold...but you blokes borrowed Hildebrant for a couple of years who was also up there in my estimation so reckon we're even.

Noticed that Woody has been named in the budget in the Ressies so that will be handy if he lines up there this weekend. Also noticed that Halligan is missing completely so the rumors that I have heard that he is going for surgery this week look like they could possibly be true and if that is the case he will be out for a good period of time. Hopefully be back for the end of the year.

This should be a cracker at the port.

Have to say though the derby was bloody taxing on both teams, it was hot muggy and tight contest all day, reckon it would of taken a fair bit out of the fellas, tbh I was a bit worried about South early accuracy was poor and later when East charged to the lead seemed to have it stitched up all the momentum was with them but to Souths credit they found something at the death knell.

If our forwards are contained by Sfc excellent backline then that will be the difference, that's where I see the game won or lost.

On another note, I really hope your crew turn out for this one in decent numbers? How long has it been that two teams have meet up undefeated this far in?

Mate Outer & I will be there and I'm dragging a mate down who hasn't been to a game this season and if I can get him off his arse I'll get my bro down as well. Will have to dash at the final siren (hoping we are well in front for an early exit) as the bride & I have to check-in for a flight at 6.45pm and it's a fair drive from Freo to Baysie then to the airport!!

Hopefully it's like the great battles we had in the 2006-2009 years.

unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it I'm flying to Europe on Saturday night and the missus would kill me if I knicked off to the footy and left her to sort out the house....on the other hand....

You can add to that my 2 mates from work, one is an old Souths man who hasn't been to a game for years and the other is a Kiwi who's never even watched Aussie rules on tv so it should be interesting.
