Any thoughts to the line up at this stage?

Did okay last week, with more big bodies this week. I still think the forward line needs some work although our backs look okay. No word on Greg yet. Neither any word on Wood. Is Ryan injured and where has Reece Bletch gone?

I think they're trying to make Shaun Bradley into a tall agile forward like Yaz last year and for mine he's not up to it. the sooner we get Madut or similar back in to release Dela and clanger as permanent forwards the better I like it. Halligan pulled up a bit sore last week but should be ok so will probably go in with an unchanged line up.

Cant't see too many if any changes unless there's an injury apart from Bradley who's not quite up to it, I'd bring in Max Walters, he had a great game in the scratchie v Swans, tallish mid and far more versatile than Bradley. Wouldn't rush Broughts back, the current boys are doing their job.

Forwards are doing ok, Shepeard is ready to kick a bag and wont have an AFL listed FB to contend with. Dylan Clarke is proving to be a quality small forward, very clever player but needs to improve his accuracy, could have had 6 last week, Halligan and Sokol are always going to give us good service and have a good defensive side to their game, then add in the input from mids like Phez, Robbo & Horse who regularly pop up with a couple and we are ok.

The defence that looked shaky at times in the pre-season is again looking super solid, Lockyer is in stellar form, every game up against a taller opponent but rarely beaten, Kennedy did a job on Wulff last week Heal is solid as another tall defender and Jackson is getting better with each game but will have his hands full with the Joondy FF who is a quality player.

Joondy had a few injuries out of their last game so not sure if those guys will be 100%, Keunen is the big one if he's fit, always towels us up in the ruck, only time I've seen him beaten was in last years GF when Clang and Dela double teamed him, if he play's and we can curb his influence it will go a long way to winning the game. Fine and 29 forecast so should be a good open game with a big crowd, despite the live telecast.

Halligan could possibly be the only change from what I am aware of as he still hasn't pulled up well from last week and will be sent for scans on his knee.

Heard that Blech was taking a year off this year to rest his body.Broughton a good chance to return next week according to his old man.Stevenson still a long way off, probably mid season.Agreed that Bradley is not up to it at this stage, does not bring enough lock in pressure to the forward line for mine.Joyce doing super in the resides and deserves to come up.Others to be considered should be Walters and Bogensperger.

I think more can be gained from a big crowd that got in for free but spent their cash on club merch, food vans, new memberships etc. Also more eyes viewing club sponsors and exposing new first time fans to our great WAFL game. West Perth are to be congratulated for taking this initiative. A big crowd is a good thing for everyone whether they paid to get in or not.

Your mob offer the free tickets so I'll support that progressive initiative by getting that freebie and attending the game plus bringing along a few extras.
