Yes, he handled the Essendon saga very well

Would've been interesting to see TDL & Yaz in the same fwd line but I'm not sure that Yaz would've been with us anyway if he didn't get drafted. Surprised Clark didn't get selected, hopefully in the rookie draft. Wortho will be a big loss. Looks like a fair turnover for us again next season.

DG what's the situation with Wortho, what have you heard? Reallyimportant that we get TDL back, he could play at FF, Stevo will be back along with Stockley plus Broughton is back in the fold. What type of players do you think we should look at that we cant find in the 2's/colts. Seems we may keep Clark for another season unless he's rookie listed, a couple of ex ferals boys down from NT I believe, know nothing about them. Would like to see the club work with what's in the cupd this year. If we come back to the field a bit I wouldn't have a problem.

I recall Shaquille McKenzie, if its the same fella. Talented, very lightly built, bit of x-factor. TDL a good replacement for Yarran. Stockley back should allow Delahunty to be key position - I'd love to see him at full forward. Has a great lead and mark in front.

Wortho has got a job in Kalgoorlie Senior. TDL has been training with us apparently yes he will be handy. To look at, maybe a tall mobile back or a big mid I'd say. Along with those you mentioned it would be nice to see Grace get a good run from injury he could be a strong forward.

No way Singha Dela is one of the best ruckmen in the comp.

disagree there DG...he's a centre half forward first and foremost and pinch hits in the ruck.

Yes maybe chf BC, if we have a good ruckman that is. Not many ruckmen out there who can keep up with him around the ground though, or take as many grabs for that matter. Lets just agree that he is a good mobile versatile big man.

It will be interesting to see how big Frank comes up after the knee recon, they usually take around 8 -10 solid games to get the confidence back so maybe we'll see a 3 way rotation with Dela and Clanga through the ruck and chf/FF. If TDL can get back near his pre draft form when he was a 70+ goal a year player he'll more than make up for Yaz, expect TDL to be a bigger body after several years in the AFL system plus Halligan & Deluca still makes a potent forward line. The backs will still be the best in the comp despite losing the great man, Dec Jackson is a ready made FB and Stevo will be back. Expect Lockyer to take on a bigger leadership role down back, he was super for us last season, for mine close second to Mena as most valuable player. The only obvious gap is that big bodied aggressive mid role that Mena played so well, is there anyone in the 2's or colts that can come in, Clark needs to take a big step up next year if he misses out in the rookie draft.
