With Subiaco Oval being demolished in 2018 what will happen to the bar? Have they got an arrangement with the New Stadium, if not, that'll shake things up.

Why would there be an arrangement?? If there is it will be an utter disgrace!! Your home is at Leederville put another bar there

It would not surprise me in the least to hear that Subiaco are given a compensation package from the WAFC for losing their very larege golden egg laying goose.

If they can keep giving similar benefits to the mandurah mustangs then this would appear to be an easy decision.

There is no deals for any WAFL club at the new stadium, it's all for the AFL and there will be stuff all for the WAFL. One would hope something could be done like allocating say, 300 seats to each of the 7 WAFL clubs to do with what they want, that's only 2100 seats out of 60k, but imagine the fuss the AFL clubs would make. They are already bitching about Barney allocating 15k seats for walk ins and special ticketing.

SFC's lease at Subi oval ends when the new stadium opens at the end of 2017, heaven knows what you lot will have to winge and whine about then!!

I'm not so sure about that, I'm pretty sure subi signed a 20 year deal with the wafc not long ago. Not sure what the details were.

You can be sure TOO, the last and final lease agreement that Subi signed is I think 3 years into a 5 year lease agreement which will expire at the same time the oval goes to mothballs and that will be the end of it. Back in the 90's I think it was, the Subi board contained some very savvy businessmen (well anyone would appear savvy compared to the nufties that run footy in WA) who negotiated the final lease which had this 5 year runout clause, actually I think it gave 2 options either a cash payout for handing back the final 5 years or take on the lease and the benefits that go with it ie Subi's own social hall & bar and the opportunity to buy and package the old subi members seats in the 2 tier stand. I may have some details wrong but that's pretty much it. The new stadium is a whole new ball game with a clean slate.
