I read somewhere that 7 weren't doing a game this weekend.
Maybe I misunderstood something.

Wortho is playing magoos atm mate, no Waters though. Blech also playing & dominating. Garcia, Heal & Bestry also magoos.

Subi played ordinary footy but managed a win which was good. EP played good running footy and made Subi pay for their many mistakes. EP had more winners on the day but Subi never to their credit never gave up. Subi also made heaps of mistakes against Perth and EF but those teams weren't good enough to make them pay. For me Horse was our best today and Johnson for the royals. Subi can't play shit like that against any of the other finalists or we won't have a chance in defending our flag. Liked the look of a few of the young weagirls - they all showed a bit. Subis disposal very ordinary today with so many turnovers and our forward entries were crap. Not enough one touch footy today and we ll need the rest as there's a lot of work to do. That could be the scare we needed today to fire up for the finals??? We play like that and anyone can win the flag - play to our full capabilities and we ll be very very hard to beat.
Well done by the Tiggers for getting in the finals - all the best to every team in league, ressies and colts for qualifying - let the premiership race begin.

Our first qtr kicking with a strong breeze was just pathetic, over handballed again when no need to and when we kicked into the forwards we gave them no chance, the first 5 inside 50 entries we kicked over the leading forwards heads, all were clear of their opponent but we butchered the delivery, cant believe we were goaless with such a gale behind us,. The Eagles feed happily off our mistakes to lead despite pushing into the breeze. We were slightly better in the second but poor goal kicking once again put us under huge pressure, Eags kicked 5 straight with the breeze while we managed 2.4 against. Things did look up after halftime with the boys being more efficient with their ball use and faster movement, but still inaccurate with 4.5 to 1.3. So a 2 point lead with the Eags kicking with a breeze that had dropped slightly. We managed to produce enough opportunities to kick 3 straight while the Eags could only manage 2.4 with the breeze to give us a 4 point win.

Late in the last it was up for grabs and when 1 point behind late in the qtr Yazz had a simple shot about 30 out straight in front but totally butchered it out of bounds on the full!! A minute later he ran super hard and took a great 1 hander and from near the same spot nailed what turned out to be the winner after the Eags had the last shot at goal to win but their #22 missed from about 50 out.

Good teams find a way to win even when they are off the boil which we certainly were, we gifted 3 goals to them by atrocious kicking out of defence straight to their players 20/30 out from goal.

Our best, well there really wasn't any 4 qtr players were Horse with 23, Mena who flashed in and out of the game with 23, Kitch who worked his butt off in the packs for 20 and Twom's who was also in and out of the game with 20. Yazz was in better form but his confidence is still down, he ran hard all day and popped up with 2 goals including the winner so hopefully that will give him a boost, if ye gets his early season form back he will be a key in the finals and attract one of the oppositions best backs.

Given our abysmal form you would have to question the Ferals ability to do much damage in the finals, they seemed to fade in the second half and had the game on a plate in the last going with a good breeze but lacked the run or the commitment to finish us off despite a massive ruck dominance all day.

We have a couple of weeks now to get things right before taking on either Joondy or Peelmantle.

Couldn't get to the game but just watched it on replay that was terrible, I cant believe we won that, monumental fk ups galore. If it wasn't for Kitchin in the last 15 minutes we wouldn't have.
