Looking at the Subi F@B count,I noticed that Dylan Elliot played 8 games and polled 10 votes for his total of 34 disposals,an average of approx.just 4 possessions a game.Unusual polling indeed!

It seems the coaches rate him far higher than us supporters.
I watched him very very closely and found him to be close checking but one dimensional and only worries about his man and nothing else. He doesn't read the play well and when his player only gets a few or no goals they do set up others.

He has a lot to learn as a footballer but is only young and would hope he improves.
He seems keen and is probably playing to coaching instructions. If he's our future tagger we're in trouble as these day's you have to get the ball as well.

I would think there are others playing ressies who would love the chances he has been given in league b4 his injuries. Remembering Elliott probably only played after we had a few injured though.

Give him time and we'll see how he develops but I'm not a fan as yet but would be more than happy for him to make me eat my words !!!

Yep Singha,apparently we have been talking to a Russian recruit, according to Leedy!A big athletic type who can handle shirtfronts easily.Word is WP flew him all the way over for a chat but Subi have got their grubby hands on him somehow.Just Putin things into perpective,boys!

Interesting to note that Elliot also played 5 games of ressies but did not score any votes in this lower grade.Based on fairest and best voting,it would seem that Luke Norriss and Craig Hoskins could consider themselves unlucky not to have been rewarded with league appearances,given their high voting results.Likewise Joel Ashman and Dylan Clarke who each received just one league appearance for their high vote tallies.This will be an important year for these guys to step up.Likewise others such as Bogensperger,Elliot,Featherstonaugh,Garcia,Madut and Wade.
