Has any other of the Subiaco brotherhood heard the rumour that we have been kicked out of next years Foxtel Cup? I've heard that there has been a campaign from the other G7 teams with a northern suburb president in the lead.

According to them we (as well as EP) don't need the prize money so they want us replaced with two teams who need the cash desperately. Problem is now the AFL is threatening to cancel the tournament because the WAFL and SANFL won't be sending their best teams.

I know some don't care about this competition but a fully paid trip away would be great for the boys.

It was reported on 6PR this week that Foxtel has dropped the Foxtel cup due to lack of interest [ratings] and it was to costly. Also because Foxtel have dropped their prices they had to cost cut. I quite like the concept and its a fantastic experience for all the players, in way I will miss the Foxtel cup.

Heard on 6PR same thing. Money wasnt not forthcoming by Foxtel.They are fiocussing on The Recruit show now. Put it in the same basket as Escort Cup and Red Rooster Cup
