Well, Buddy looked good actually. Attacked the ball hard and didn't shirk any contest. Have been told by 3 or 4 people that he's really looked good at training. Hopefully he sets himself up for a big 2015.

Forrest worked his way into the game gradually. Blew off a few cobwebs. Didn't star but took another step forward.

Not too worried about the league loss to be honest mate. Didn't think the boys played with much intensity or truely attacked the contest like they can. I get more worried when I see a side play at their full capacity but don't win. We were only at 40%. But credit to Claremont for the win. They wanted it, we didn't.

Thanks yeah hopefully they both have big ones next year. Have been meaning to ask what's your thoughts on Tom Smith, he seems to lay a lot of tackles & kick a goal or two but doesn't have a lot of possessions? Yeah me either mate, it was one of those days. Very dangerous for anyone to write us off after that.

Smith is a tough nut for sure. Never shirks a contest. Kicking can be a problem though. Has an unusual technique where he appears to be about to guide the ball down to his left foot by ends up kicking with his right.

bit of a worry if you were at 40 per cent considering how important it is to wrap up a top two spot, need to be a bit more switched on than that for premiership contention?

Our kicking really let us down this week, at goal and around the ground. Lost count of how many times it was kicked over the players head. Claremont were sharp and switched on and just ran harder and killed us on the quick rebound. With little Justin Beiber returning next year the Tigers will be right up there again.

Well done to Claremont they played very sharp efficient footy, hit targets consistently, had better spread due to harder running and taking the first option.
Their goal kicking was just average at 50% but so much better than ours which was shocking in the 3rd qtr and perhaps cost us the game in the end. Cl had a better set up around contests where they only had one player close into the contest keeping a couple 10 - 15 outside while all our guys were sucked into the contest leaving them free with the overlap which killed us in the 1st half.

Seaby was a key for them, winning the ruck easily and giving their band of mids an armchair ride, he is the best ruckman in the league from the games I've seen and for the Tiges sake I hope he goes round again, they will be in the finals frame next year if he does.

The positive for Subi was that we kept at it and clearly won the second half after being trounced in the first and despite being well below par due mostly to Claremonts good play & pressure we created enough opportunities especially in the 3rd qtr to win but were not skilled enough on the day to convert the chances. Very few 4 qtr performers, Horse as usual tried his guts out and was pretty frustrated with some others who didn't show the same commitment. Horses example of what is required to be a top notch player is clear for the rest of the team to see. Others who contributed were Waters with 3 majors, Chris Deluca with his great defensive efforts, Clanger at times and Hildo ran hard all day.

While it didn't change the result I cannot let the umpiring go by without some comment. I don't know the blokes name but he was the blonde bloke who really likes to impose himself on the game and just about every time he did he got it wrong. His incorrect and inconsistent application of the rules was disappointing to say the least. Lets hope he is consigned to the regions come finals time as I'm sure he will try and make himself bigger than the game. It's when you don't notice an umpire that they are doing a good job and this guy was very noticeable.

Good summary SS. Yeah who is that guy? He is not your usual nerdy ump, a pretty boy wanna be tough guy who likes being the centre of attention...he really shits me to tears with his decision making...
