I wonder how many they'll get back for the finals? If the beags do release all qualified players back to WART then it's going to be a tough ask to get over them although in saying that, you've got to wonder if they'll have their hearts in it.

Yeah will be interesting mate. I'd definitely say the team they will field tomorrow won't be as strong as the one they will put out later in September.

Just having a look at their leading 18 vote getters this year when I combined the club awards with the paper. From those - Anderson (5th), Lycett (6), Sinclair (7), Sheed ( 8 ), Butler (9), McGinnity (11), Tunbridge (16), and Wellingham (18) aren't named to play. Bit of a bonus for us.

Interestingly, their top 4 are Wulff, S Payne, Lee and Johnson - due in part to the fact that they play every week.

We'd have to be a good chance I reckon long as we bring our A-game

Yes good to see the Deluca boys named, but will both get a gig. Young Jackson has been named as well so that's obviously an attempt to bring some size into the backline. Ben can you give us a rundown on the lad and is he of a size to handle the Feral Talls? Stocks still out is a blow.

The ground will most likely still be very heavy so fitness will play a huge part in the game and having 7 - 10 full time pro's in their list will make a difference on that front, the wafl players that the ferals have are top shelf players in Wulff, Johnson, Smith, Lee etc, I think we need to shut down Wulff in particular, he is just about the hardest contested ball player in the comp. Do we have a real hard nut that can sacrifice his game to reduce his impact?

It's human nature to compete whatever level of football. Pride in performance dictates any athlete will perform to their best on a given day. Interesting speaking to a couple of the Eagles that transferred this year. Both very happy to move and enjoy the atmosphere around EP, they do not wish to go back. Subiaco would like their chances in this one.

Always respct wht you write but could they also be because they are fairly good footballers in their own right and have been at the top of the list for EP before ERT.

Of course and I did say "due in part", but I reckon Sinclair would give your B&F a good shake if he had played more than 9 games. And Lycett, I noticed, had polled best player votes in all six games he has played. So they would be giving Wulff and Payne some serious competition.

Well done to Subi beating Dawson and his leech of a club
All the best in the future... One thing that will come out of this is you have beaten them 3 times this season and by a good margin today.
If you make the GF which I suspect you will against them and they stack their side with the Eligible 17 players or even 15 or whatever and win it will show that the WAFC/WAFL is a cheats organisation as you are obviously the best stand alone WAFL club at the moment.
Secretly I suspect the WAFL/WAFC/AFL chronies and Sycophants are hoping you win because they can then turn it around say HEY WE TOLD YOU IT WOULDNT MAKE A DIFFERENCE... They would forget the EP record for the season which got them there though!!!!!! Something they did not do via their own merit but with the assistance of the WEST COAST FOOTBALL CLUB...

Go Subi and the best of luck guys.. Suspect you will be there as SD and EF have fallen in a bit of a hole but then having said that a week is a long time in Footy as todays results showed..

Cheers Cardy. Really good win today. Good to respond strongly when they got a run on & got to within a couple of points in the 3rd, Mahoney was instrumental in regaining the momentum. Thought it was Hilda's best game for a while, really good to have those two players getting back into some solid form. How good is Horse atm?? Our 14th goal was a really special effort from him. Our big boys did ok vs Sinclair & Johnson, I like young Bestry, we have the problem of how to fit all in when Stockley & Delahunty are right. Phelan was up there with Horse for bog honours, he really has developed into a reliable player this season. Jackson did well on debut, big strapping defender. Good to have the DeLuca brothers back, fierce. Hampson, Boland & Yarran all very dangerous players. Sad to see Davey hurt a leg, been out for a bit then worked his way back in today, hopefully it's not too bad? Joyce was very good in his second or third game back from injury in the magoos, will play league after the bye imo. On our way to making them our bitches Stinga ;)

I wasn't going to go today as I have a problem giving my hard earned over to the eagles but bloody glad I did. Horse, Fez, Marn's all terrific but for mine, our most important player is Wheeler. He plays forward, back and pinch hits in the ruck. He took on Sinclair and Johnson when they rested down forward and did a fantastic job. I also thought young Jackson acquitted himself well as did Bestry. MacDougall was very good again. The backs did well as WART seemed to win more centre breaks than us but the likes of Leishman, Twomey, Rumba - who was excellent by the way repelled them time and again.

I noticed Delahunty still with his knee in a brace which isn't a good sign. I reckon we'll be lucky to see him before the finals. All in all 3 great wins across all grades....well done boys.
