Name being bandied around as a possible coach for the Dees.
Any comments from our learned Subi boys?

I'm no expert mate, I just didn't like what I saw as an outsider looking in, I didn't rate him and was pretty happy when he left. I would have preferred Webby got the job. How we ever got top the grand final remains a mystery to me. I dont think we should have been there and really had no chance of winning it.

Agree but we timed our run well and with big Rix out injured we were always going to struggle. Warts was ok but his last year when we were stuffed with injuries he only coached better when the young guy's were given a crack which was late in the season.
The players didn't seem to be playing for him like they should and he seemed a bit exhausted and needed a breather ??? He may be the best Perth can get ???

I liked German and once you've seen him in action everyone else just looks ordinary.

I suspect what Perth needs in a coach is one who is able to develop your young players coming through. Also, the coach needs the full and complete support of the entire club and not have to watch his back when the results don't come immediately.

have said earlier get german. throw the kitchen sink at him. with his credentials in the VFL he will bring players across who are a cut above the average wafl players going around. he will also set your club up with foundations. standards the club will adhere to to be a force to recon with over time not just a year or two.

agree raiserr...germo is the best coach i've seen at this level apart from bunts who was in a different time...

BC, wasn't Subi's team pretty special when Germon was coach?.....he has done fark all in the VFL since heading back, to the point he hasn't had or got an AFL assistants gig? Could be wrong there tho, just don't remember him being associated with any AFL club, bar playing at NM.....

TBH Hase if he made the choice of Cl over SF could be a premiership winning coach, instead he is leaving SF with limited success......amazing how his coaching career has panned out!

German was also full-time at Subi from memory, would need plenty of $$ to get him out of Victoria.

yes...it was a pretty good team but when you read about the affect Germo had on the playing group then I dont think there's any doubt about his ability to bring a team together.
