What's the news on Rumble? Played a great first half but spent the rest of the game on the bench getting up every few min to jog up and down the boundary. Had his thigh strapped so I'm guessing he copped a bad cork and was trying to keep the blood flowing.

The DeLuca boys have added something to then team. Like having an outbreak of Ballantynes infesting our forward line.

Great even team performance to back up a sensational game by Hampson who basically did what he liked in the first half and the Deluca boys are highly skilled and super aggressive at the contest, if they had kicked straight it would have been a 100+ point result. these big % wins will be vital if we are in the mix at the end of the year fighting for the 3 spots left over after the Eagles

Horse, Wheeler & Mcdougal (back after the bye apparently) will be icing on the cake but how we go from here depends on keeping our best group on the paddock, we saw what happened last year when injuries destroyed the 2nd half of the season. Much better depth this year and big thumbs up to the club on investing in some quality recruits so we have some chance of competing against the AFL reserves professionals rather than just sitting on our hands.

The team work ethic is back like the mid 2000's, great tackling and pressuring with a bigger physical presence. Very early days but the signs are good that we can at least be competitive this year.

Dockers next weekend down at centrelink stadium, they will be tough and determined after last game fade out, but with so many injuries to Freo and their reserves list it gives us a good chance of making a reasonable showing. Need to take a leaf out of the young Swannies who won because they believed in themselves.

Yes Horse knocked up a lazy 23 disposals in 3 qtrs which would indicate he's ready to go. Big couple of games coming up with the Dockers this week and Eagles the following week, will need an extra tall against both teams who are loaded with them so Clanger would be almost a certainty this week to help Stockley & Delahunty. If Clanger comes in I would rotate the 3 of them through the ruck, CHF & the bench or pocket. Clanger is so mobile for a big bloke so we wont lose mobility if he comes in but a shame that a small will have to be dropped. But it's horses for courses.

Thanks to all the Subi supporters who give us a much better report than we get in the West, living in the Northwest doesn't give me a chance to see too many games over the season so it's great to get your reports especially LH. Thanks again.

No worries mate.

Chopper is doing the report next week after his superb effort from Geraldton.

Yes, Twomey is a very good WAFL player.

But on paper do you or any opposition supporters really see any genuine stars in our squad?

I mean, Twomey makes a difference of course but one bloke isn't going to lift a side up from 8th spot...

100% agree with you La Hincha, hence my comment about what's in the feed. Good luck against the Dorkers this weekend
