From this list of 25 players on the WAFL website, only 9 players played in the last game of 2013. That is some turnaround. For the good? Time will tell.

I think Smith came to us last year from vfl but hardly played for whatever reason. Must be going ok this pre season though...

Not sure about our back half if they line up that way, looks not too strong & pretty inexperienced to me, Souths forward line looks pretty good...

Pretty good pressure footy today although souths were very loose. Was impressed with all of the recruits particularly Delahunty, Stockley & Twomey. I like Yarran hes got a bit of mongrel about him & kicks goals. Boland also looks like a good target up front & kicks straight. Best game that i've seen from Phelan. Will look alot better when the likes of Horsley & McDougall come in.

Agree with all of what you posted.

Got to apologise to Boland. Not that I said anything on here. But after the WP scratchie I left thinking, please that be his worst form and not his usual form and yesterday he showed he can really play.

Chris Phelan - totally different player this year. Added some bash and crash to his game.

Hayden Kennedy - wrapped with his debut straight out of colts. Gutted that he seemed to tear a hammy late.

Anyway, terrific effort against the odds. Here is the old traditional supporters/club/media votes. Might as well keep it going for the 8th year or whatever it is.
