And colts won by about 3 goals. Something like 12-12 to 8-18 or thereabouts.

Good hit out for Subi on Sat. Blech was a welcome return,Hampson got heaps of it along with Hilda. DeLahunty showed glimpses. Davey and Bristow had a crack. Stockley looked good which is a plus as hopefully he won't have to go solo if Doogs knee is ok ???
Tom Smith did a few good things as did young Elliott. Hayden Kennedy looked very impressive but for me the big one was having a exciting forward in Shane Yarran.
Very good game - showed pace, skill, aggression and some high marking ability - all of which has been lacking in our forwards of late. A few snap shots went astray but what a great game.

Let's hope he can continue with it as what I saw was brilliant.

The Sharks mids were too good for us in the second half, finding too much space through the middle. Sharks will be up there this season. Although Subi had about 8-10 out so did the Sharks so it was a good win for them.

Sharks in the 4 and Subi 5-6th with a chance at the 4 if the stars all align but a chance to beat anyone on our day. Good to watch some WAFL footy again !!!

Yep...good hit out by a very undermanned Subi. Plenty of kids playing with Horse, Clanger, Stevo and lots of others watching from the sidelines and a few first choice 22 playing ressies such as JKT. Twomey played a sweeping role across half back really well...Stockley was good, Hildo ran hard, DelaHunty did some good things and has a penetrating left foot...but agree chopper...Yarran was very good. He should get a berth in the first game and has height and skill....very exciting prospect.

Thought Subi looked ok,just a scratch match. Good skills at times and they will only get better.

Subi were undermanned but the Sharks were aswell so there was no excuses.
Like I said they had as many talented players out as Subi so I don't think that mattered on the day. Subi's players out from a possible best 22 ??? included
Waters,Forrest,JKT,Worthington,Phelan,Wheeler,Boland (the new Vic forward recruit)
Daniels,Stevenson,Gum,Mcdonnald.

Also Bogensburger played a blinder in Ressies and I'd love to see him get a better crack at it in League this season after showing some good form in up there in his few games last season. He's built himself up in the gym a bit by the looks
