Greg Clark was incredible yesterday, makes you wonder how he didn't crack it at the Eagles. If he keeps that form going he should get another opportunity at AFL level.

Agree DD but he had to carry too many passengers yesterday, your mob looked very good, real pace and aggression.

Clark didn’t make it because Simpson and his selectors only gave him the odd game on a wing.
He was never given an opportunity to play as an inside mid for a few games to find his feet.
Their loss.

At 195cm and 95kegs he's the prototype big mid so why would you play him on a wing Mr Simpson, made no sense.
Thats the same size at guys like Cripps, Fyfe and the Bont .... not saying he's in that same class tho'

Perth played like a German coached team, hard aggressive and fast ball movement, not perfect but so much better than past seasons. O

SS, Germo has a few more tools at his disposal this year and a few more levers to pull plus a few not available yet. Last year his hands were tied with no levers to pull. I too thought your ruckman Eaton was good, if the budget is correct he was conceding 8cm to our ruckman Edwards but I thought he won most taps. Has a very good leap on him.

I see Kara Antonio has left the club and taken up an assistants position at Freo sheila's team. She didn't exactly set the world on fire at Subi as the forwards coach as they were dysfunctional for a large part of last year.

Apart from that one change the teams the same as last week. Thought they did ok against Swans who are unbeaten in their last 9 outings and we have some key players out, none more important than the skipper. Perth have got a few of their imports back so will be strengthened by that. Perfect day for footy tomorrow if a little warm (25deg) for this time of year, should be a really competitive game.

Big game for the ressies who need to win to keep EF at bay and hold onto 2nd spot, EF play Swans who beat our ressies last week, but our ressies have been weakened due to the injuries in the league recently.

I didn't see that last quarter coming. IMO Perth were the better side for 2 1/2 qtrs until we started to get a bit of momentum late in the third. We were in it mainly due to straight kicking but continued to work hard to get centre clearances from mid third term on, although we did ok at around the ground stoppages throughout the game.

For better players, I thought Schofield had a blinder for the first quarter and a bit until Germo put a hard tag on him. He still played well but didn't get as much of it finishing with 18 touches. Kitch was superb and I really hope he goes around again next year as his toughness and leadership is invaluable.

Liam Hickmott was prolific, Corbett got his hands on it but his disposal lets him down at times. I also really liked the games of Alone, Robbins and Bellouard who is very composed in heavy traffic could all become top flight WAFL footballers if they continue to develop.

The Champ is a super talent but what I really enjoy about his game is his unselfish attitude. It's easy for small forwards to take the miracle shot at goal as they only get a few chances, but the Champ is happy to share the ball with team mates in a better position. That's a real asset for someone so young.

Wardman switched Gus and Lachy Henderson during the third I think it was, which was a good move as both were all at sea up until then and it worked much better in terms of structures with Gus adding grunt down back and Henderson kicking a goal and contributing in the F50. Savigni good but made a couple of blues and Rohde the rock as usual with Borch and Sok efficient in the front half.

A good win so let's keep it going next week against the Jerkers. Also, great to see a big crowd in the social premises for Ladies Day

What a strange match this was.
I thought Perth would go on with it after their half time lead. Eleven scoring shots to Subiaco's 6 for the first 2 quarters.
That is where Perth stopped with only scoring ten points for the entire second half.
Subi scoring eleven goals from their fourteen second half scoring shots.
