Sad to hear of the passing of Mitch Fussell who played for Subi between 1977 - 1984. Missed 3 years after badly breaking his leg in 1981. Was solid at Fullback in what was a tough period for Subi. May he RIP.

Sad news indeed. I remember Mitch finding his way to full back and holding his own against some of the best ff of all time in an era of big scores. RIP

Sad to lose players from that era. I'm sure he's loved watching the Lions for the past 40 years being the most successful club in the WAFL.

How sad, I was a big fan as a young lad in a time we didn’t have much to cheer about. His family have a gofundme page, a sudden death after a simple infection. 
Life can change on a dime.
