Agree 58 that their second half umpiring was better, but the first half had everyone scratching their heads. The 2nd half they let it flow a bit more. On wet days you just pay the obvious ones even more so that dry days.

From what I've seen, I really rate EF, they have a very even team with some real standouts in Boekhurst and Eardley, plus Goddard is one of the best ruckman in the comp, then you have an X factor in J Marsh who can turn a game if his head stays screwed on.

Marsh is a dropkick. He was giving it to Snadden all day calling him a weak c*#t and anything else that came to mind and then Snadden had a crack at him in East Freo's goal square in the third and Marsh shit himself and starting squealing to the umps. A good player when he concentrates on footy but I don't rate him otherwise due to all the mouthing off and other crap he engages in.

BC as much as Marsh may be a loose cannon, perhaps he had history with Snadden when Snadden was at EF.....who knows.....Snadden jumped ship at EF perhaps to seek finals footy at Subi.....whilst i dont blame Snadden, just may be Marsh was  reminding him he was a weak c#nt for jumping ship on his former team mates.....who knows......maybe that's why Harry has shown no interest in joining his younger brother at EF......

Maybe there's some history...who knows. Snadden probably jumped ship to get more opportunities at league level as he played 10 league and 9 ressies at EF last year including preseason games. Players leave their original clubs all the time and for a variety of reasons so not sure why Marsh thought it ok to give Snadden a hard time.

I also recall Marsh giving it to the Subi coaching staff on the boundary line at the WACA earlier in the year. Maybe he should just concentrate on playing footy and stop all the chest beating crap.

Subi reserves are an interesting team atm. Slow and heavy with Alone , Golding and Vanirsen playing. All three can compete well at league level at times, but need a bit more toe. Paparone has a bit of pace but needs the size of the others. Robins seems to be the best combination of speed and strength but isn't the most natural of footballers. It must be hard to decide who gets a game. No one clearly stands out.
Matera the younger has a bit of pace but not the strength. As for Ash, he is unlucky to not be playing.
at this stage, none of the above seem as good as Kitch, Bairstow, Webby, or Horse.
hickmont the elder seems to be the best of the new brigade playing.

BC if Snadden struggled to get games at EF, not sure how in hell Snadden thought Subi was going to be any easier......unless Snadden knew Subi were going to struggle as much as they have this year.....it was obvious Snadden went to Subi in search of glory.....don't blame him one bit for doing so.....but don't blame Marsh for reminding him for doing so and for calling him a weak c#nt for doing it......

Subi has been a bit of a sanctuary for ex EF players of late with Marsh, Snadden, Alone, Eaton, Robinson and Bartlett all playing in Subi colors......plus Menagola, Narkle, Garlett, Fletcher and a few other ex EF fringe players suiting up for Subi over the past few years......

The loyal Marsh seems to have most annoyed BC more than anyone. I doubt Snadden is as thin skinned. For BC's sake maybe Marsh should not be played against the maroon and yellow.

You refer to J marsh as the "loyal Marsh" Therefore based on that, Boekhurst and Goddard must be referred to as not loyal for not going back to their original clubs for whatever reasons.

My understanding of his loyalty, is that once he re-signed, he throws his heart, soul and everything into the club.
Then again, I could be wrong….again.
