I guess our chances this week against the team my mate calls the WanCERS (sic) will depend on how many AFL players are available.  You'd think the likes or Ryan, Rioli, Yeo, Sheed and maybe Petrucelli will go up but who that leaves and who will drop back to make way is yet to be seen.

I'm also a bit dark this home game has been moved to Optus as I've prepaid entrance to Leederville as part of my membership and it's the second time I've been dudded after the transfer of an earlier home game to Kalgoorlie. Anyway, another freebie to the club so hopefully we'll win to make up for it.

The club were spruiking $58 tickets for the game which includes the WC v Geelong demolition exhibition, but who in their right mind would want to waste 3 hours of their day on a Geelong % boosting excercise. There will be a couple of hundred turn up for the WAFL, I wont be one of them. In your situation, the club should have arranged for Subi season ticket holders to get free admission, otherwise your membership has effectively been devalued.

I wish they'd give Eaton a decent run at it. Too much chopping and changing with the young blokes instead of giving them time to adapt to league footy.

Yes it seems to be a battle between Eaton and Putt on who makes the team each week

Fair effort by the boys. Watched on TV. Savigni shows a few good signs.  Putt is so mistake prone but gets a bit better all the time. Holding his own in the air.

Borchet on the up. All is not lost.

Every win is precious at this time of year but it certainly wasn't a convincing display against a WCER who had a lot of no names. In fact we lost the disposal count, inside 50s, scoring shots but still managed a fairly good winning margin.

Dela was terrific again, Heal, Gus, Max, Borch, Soks all very good. Aside from them, I was impressed by young Robbins, Savigni and Stergiou is really finding some good form. The Hickmott's get plenty of it which is great but their disposal let's them down at times so they need to just take an extra step and compose themselves before kicking or hand balling. I'm still not convinced Putt is a league player and Vanirsen should be given more time to develop in the two's.

To compete with the better sides, we're going to need the Matera's, Marsh, Braut and Atkinson back on the park soon because we're not in great form and the lesser players aren't quite at the level yet.
