Well done to the ressies for making finals, almost pinched 3rd place in the end. Looks like it will be up at south Gero given Joondy are hosting the league elim final, they will have all there grades in the elim finals, good effort by them.

Can anyone advise what the games qualification rule is for league players to play ressies finals? Are there still restrictions if the league team is in the finals?

I think it's open slather while our league team is still in the finals SS. So hopefully Mayo and Atkinson get another game under their belts in the ressies this week then push up for the seniors the week after.

A few fringe boys like Golding would be available also

Well done to the ressies, would have expected a win given there was plenty of league experience in the group and Joondy with all 3 grades playing would not have. Different case next week against Swans who will be able to load up on qualified league players, so swings and roundabouts.

Mayo and Martin had good games, Jack was a bit inaccurate but had 22 touches an 9 hitouts. Would expect Mayo to play in the ones next week, we desperately need more height against a tall SF side especially if it's a fine day. long range forecast is for possible showers, maybe 0.5mm.

Yes I think they brought Mayo back too early. A year and a half off with a knee then straight into the seniors after a couple of ressies games wasn't smart. He should be much better prepared this time around and has been performing strongly for the last couple of weeks. Atkinson would be handy this week as well to compete against Souths talls.

Yes Atkinson at CHB, that releases Braut to play some time in the mids and up forward where he's a hard match up.
Locks on Shaw and Kennedy on Ninyette who is dangerous as a small forward. Will be interesting to see if they play both Higgins and Free. I expect they will if it's a fine dry day given we dont have a genuine ruckman unless Oskar or Putt play and unfortunately they are both not anywhere near the Souths pair at this stage of their careers.

You'd think Putt will play with Dela as back up. It'll be interesting to see how the forward line shapes up. We definitely need a small forward and Bailey Matera has been playing more as a mid and Brandon...well I'm not sure what role he's playing as he's not overly hitting the score board either. Maybe Robbins or Faraone to come in.

I'd be reluctant to make too many changes. West Perth impressive on Sunday. Not easy to beat. Anyone's game no matter who we play.
