Well, got over the line but just. Would have been a bit of a nail biter.

Is the Sandover Medal count on tomorrow night and if so is there a live stream of the count?

We could have a chance with Della, Kitch, Clarke.

Used to be the first Monday after the final H & A game but I think the WAFC now slavishly follow what the VFL/AFL do and have it the Monday of Grand final week.

Kitch not in it after his 1 week suspension from the Claremont game, but Clark is a real chance along with Dela.

Very lucky to win, it was much like the previous game vs the ferals, good 2nd qtr and that's about it, although the 1st wasn't too bad also. Went to sleep after half time and if it wasn't for a great smother of a shot on goal from one of our boys in the dying seconds we would have lost and be playing the tiges next week. Fkn well done whoever did the smother! I heard micale on the radio driving home he is tipping we will go out in straight sets, unfortunately if we don't lift our game he will be right!

Micale could well be right but in saying that, we've only been beaten twice this year by teams in the top 5 being once to Souths and Swans. Against Souths we lost Max and Powell very early with Kennedy on one leg for most of the game and Swans did us by a point when we were going over the top of them in the last. I agree our form has been pretty inconsistent but when we're on we're very hard to beat. Our midfield is a bit of a concern against the others and still not convinced our forward structure is working as well as it should. Anyway, time will tell I guess. It's very handy to have Mayo and Atkinson back and firing...they could be very important in the next few weeks.

You would think the braut experiment has been a failure? Put the big fella out of his misery and back in the backline to put fear into forwards

Braut down back or in the mids, Mayo to CHF, bring in either Robbins or Farone and drop Junior Matera for starters. Assume we play Souths in the second semi, we need some extra height, they have some very good talls we need to be able to counter, especially if it's fine on the day.

I'm with you guys. Braut down back, Clinch out and Mayo to the forward line. Also bring in big Atkinson off the bench and into the mids to frighten the shit out of the opposition. Robbins tackling pressure is great but as a small forward he also needs to hit the scoreboard. Bailey Matera has been used as a part-time mid and has been getting as bit of it but his disposal can be pretty ordinary. With Horse and Benny Newton gone and Maxi spending more time forward this year, it's been a bit of a patched together midfield which might get exposed by the other finalists who boast some pretty impressive performers through the middle.
