Team list shows Mayo and Golding listed in the league team but not in the ressies, so that usually indicates they have made the league 22. Overdue for Golding but not surprised given Joondy have one of the best midfield groups going around. Given the weather looks to be very wet again, Mayo being a tall may miss out and we add another small/medium.

Critical to reduce their mids supply to Keitel, if he gets good quality supply he may be the difference. If we bring that team defence as we did v Souths, we should be able to reduce his impact. Would not be surprised if Kennedy comes in to take on Knott.

Just transferred this across from the other thread. None of the interchange appear in the ressies team SS so reckon that will change by tomorrow.

Not too many surprises here. Both rucks named but that will likely change with Dela coming back in also Haydn Kennedy named in the ressies which is interesting seeing he's only missed 2 games.

Well...that's really disappointing in that they've left Josh Robbins out of the final 22.

Interesting that neither Robbins or Haydn Kennedy are currently playing ressies. Maybe there's some late changes to the league about to happen. Big Oskar Matthews looked very proppy in the last qtr on Saturday so he could be a late out. We'll just have to wait and see I guess. Also note most tipsters have gone for WP in the West which is understandable given recent form. I think we're a sneaky chance but will have to shut down Keitel.

A good win which should have been done and dusted at half time but for errant kicking at goal. Our mids were dominant for the first 2 1/2 qtrs then WP hit back and started to even up the contest. Aaron Heal was superb across half back as was Dewar, Lockyer and Stainsby. Greg Clark continued his stellar season whilst Kitch in and under as usual. Marsh influential and Brandon Matera's best game with 5 goals which could have been anything if he kicked straighter and I also liked young Robbins game as well. Nick Martin got a lot of the footy for a tall forward and finished with 2 goals. I thought the two rucks worked pretty well with Putt dominating around the ground over his young opponent. I'm still not convinced the Hickmott's are up to it as I don't think they're hard enough and their disposal isn't great. All in all a good win which probably should have been a bit more decisive given our dominance in the first half but we'll take the 4 points any day. Interesting too that Rowan Powell, Dela and Hayden Kennedy all trained on the ground after the siren. Hopefully we'll see all three back in the next week or so.

Just a clubrooms report from me. Lady's day a big success. West Perth boys having a good time. Biggest atmosphere of the year. Dewar, Matera, and Heal the prize winners. Big day.

Cheers JL. I walked through the social hall after the final siren and a big crowd in attendance even then. We just need Matty Boland and Rhys Waters back in the club to give the jerker players a bit of hurry up. ;-). Now wouldn't that be some entertainment.
