Johnny, any mention in the rooms regarding the reason for Dela's absence due to C19 quarantine?
I assume he will miss the SF game, hopefully back for Joondy.

No mention of Della's situation. Member's bar prize up to $1200 next week. Jack Beverly in the rooms, so he's still around. A good West coast contingent came back and stayed for presentations. 

I didn't mention it before, but Atkinson went down like he was shot. A dejected man as he hobbled off. 

I guess I have to make a concession here that in looking at the way we're currently playing I've been expecting this team to perform similar to the one which dominated a few years ago and as a result, have been unnecessarily critical at times. That's a mistake as we're way off our 2019 standard for a variety of reasons. Lockyer, Litherland, Heal, Dela, KItchin are all in the twilight of their careers and are no way as effective as they were. Watching the game yesterday I was very frustrated at skill errors, turnovers, bad decision making and so on but then noticed so were WCER as well. We're winning more than we're losing which is something to be thankful for and can probably put it down to the same handful of players who are keeping us in the game each week. Kitch, Marsh, Clark, Harris are superb with Maxy getting better each week but the rest are average WAFL players who excel at times but not over an entire game. We're thereabouts this year but I have real fears for future years as we don't have a lot of depth and think we'll lose some quality to retirement all about the same time. Will the Hickmott's, Fullgrabe's, Nick Martin, Putt and so on become elite WAFL players? Who knows but I don't have a whole lot of confidence at the minute. Two quarters of footy was enough to win the game yesterday but think it will be well short against others in the top five unless we shift up a gear.

BC I think your right on the money, if we get another year out of Dela and Kitch it will be a bonus, Kitch in particular is still playing top level footy, Dela has dropped of a little bit but is still one of the better players in the comp. Locks has dropped away but Heal is in very good form, Rhode is consistent and Gus is the same but has to play on bigger players week in week out. Braut must play either down back on an opposition big body or in the mids, Golding must come in to give Kitch and Marsh some help, if we get Borchet back before finals it will be a bonus but we have to settle where Martin and Sok play in the forward line. For me Martin is a CHF, classy player on both sides very mobile and great overhead. need a tall at FF, maybe Borchet junior is worth a try, bigger than his bro but less mobile and Sok with a roaming role plus Matera senior & Farone who I think has more to offer as a small forward than Robbins at the moment. Real shame we haven't seen young Breman step up as he looks a natural chf when he came in last season. We need to find an good experienced big bodied ruckman as Dela is short term and Matthews and Putt are kids, if we recruit it should be top of our list. Oh for a Zac Clarke type!!

BC as you say the days of dominating the comp are gone, but we can continue to be there or there abouts with some sensible selections and recruiting a good ruckman and a good mid.

In summary, an aging, slightly cranky, but still very solid back line that will probably lift further when stakes get higher. 
A midfield that's going ok with kitch, Clark, Marsh, Harris, Della firing.  

A forward line that lacks presence, height and system but has some young talent. Matera adding some bite yesterday.  Martin getting better every game. 

Other weaknesses include the ruck, but again two young enthusiastic prospects. 

Souths might beat us for height and vigour,  and West Perth for pace and skill (if Keitel gets a hold of us) Claremont look a bit light on, imo. Swans out marked and out kicked us. Bit just won.   Peel with a good side still a threat. The afl boys can definitely take us down, just depends how many they play in the one side.

. Should be an interesting end to season. We've got as good a chance as any team. 

For me, Lockyer is still playing high quality footy. In the game against Perth he was possibly BOG. Fantastic defence
