Nice to see some Subi memorabilia on the wall at the Subi hotel. Nice pic of the 1986 premiership team. 

Correction. Buckenara and Fred Davenportare in the team. Must be earlier. 

Not a premiership side if Bucky is in it, what years team is it on the wall there? You’d think they’d put up a premiership side

Bucky played from 1979 until 1981 at Subi and Fred's career was 1971 to 1980 so that means it is either 1979 or 1980. Must get down there one day for a look ( and a beer) as havent been for quite. A while!

My understanding is the Owners of The Subi own the Rose Hotel in Bunbury, The Treendale Farm Hotel in Treendale (Australind) and The Exchange Hotel in Kalgoorlie.
I thought they were Bunbury people may be wrong.

Vic Melville and Mitch fussle also in team. Vic was a lumbering ruckman from memory and fussle was playing very well, backline?, until he broke a leg. 

They did a good poster in 81 which all the players mentioned were a part; however,  Davenport failed to make the league side, something largely true of Douge. Melville played well that year.
