Must remember the returning injured players who will really be gains for us in 2021, Lockyer didn't fire a shot, Borchet only 1 game, a few others only 1 or 2 games. Guys like Lewis Upton would have played league but injury wrecked his season so looking forward to see if he can step up with another pre-season under his belt, should add to the mids group, experienced hard body.

I see we've got a new S&C guy with a lot of experience and Darren Rumble has joined the coaching staff as the backs coach. A couple of significant additions for the club.

Dobbin will take over the role from Matthew Olds, who departed the club last month.

Dobbin joins the Lions from the NRL’s North Queensland Toyota Cowboys where he worked as the Football Department's Head of Performance.

Prior to that, Dobbin worked at the Fremantle Dockers for just over 10 years as the senior strength and conditioning coach until 2018. He was also Head of Physical Performance for the AFL's biennial Indigenous All Stars Program in 2015 and 2017."
