BC if we get Mayo back thats the extra key forward we need, he along with Borchet and Sok would be the basis for a pretty good forward line. The ruckman is key, it will allow Dela to have a more free wheeling role playing as a true mid, would even like to see him play off a wing, super hard to match up on. Backline is still solid if all come back well from injury. The Hickmonts add to the mids group and if Deluca comes back thats a massive bonus, he was the best mid in the comp before he was pinched in the mid season draft. Plus a number of good lads had some league time due to all the injuries so they and the great crop coming through from the colts should mean we dont have to recruit much beyond a quality ruckman unless Deluca and Mayo dont make it back.

BC, SS, don't forget Newtons 10pts is only 5pts in reality now as we, along with a few other clubs, have been slugged another 5pts, so we are only allowed 95 not 100 next season. I think Ben Miller will be lucky to survive the cut at richmond so there's a 195cm 1pt player for us if he doesn't get picked up by another afl team. I would say maybe Kyron Hayden might be in the same boat at north?

@DG Kyron recently signed a 1 year extension at North.

Believe Horse is weighing up a coaching role at Claremont under Prescott who he worked with at Gold Coast which would see him hang up the boots.

Horsley would be a big loss for you boys....though De Luca is just as hard....didn't Mayo do a knee?... would he be up n ready for the start?

Thanks Lions Den, good that he got an extension. Horse huge loss if it happens, but good luck to him if he goes that way

Yes Freeze he did, hopefully it was early last season

Jack Mayo did his knee around June/July so will not be available early on if he returns to Subi.
Was looking at our list yesterday and good to see Lewis Putt on it . he is young ruckman from Scarborough.

Mayo's injury was late July so that means we wont see him until around that time in 2021(hopefully!). just noticed the othe post about Lewis Putt too, not sure if he related to Ian but likely! Ben Miller has not been delisted at Richmond but they may have further adjustments to make, they delisted two others last week i think?

I was at a function a week ago and I was talking to a Subiaco employee and he told me Deluca is highly unlikely to return and Clarke is a definite not to return.

No real surprises there Raptor, may have been different if the vfl was cancelled again
