Well done to the colts. A terrific win when considering they were rank underdogs. A commanding 59 point win. Hopefully we'll keep few of them and build at league level on the obvious talent they have.

Finishing in second position on the Colts ladder after the qualifying rounds. Apparently Subiaco having the highest percentage of the teams in the top 4 I heard.

Congratulations to Subiaco on a great win. I stayed to watch the start and you were clinical in your performance.

Now for the poor part. The actions of the Subiaco colts who were not playing were disgraceful. Some of the comments were completely out of line, especially targeted at one player and his deceased father. If they spent more energy supporting team mates and not sledging the opposition they would not have embarrassed their club.

If that's the case Mel then it's totally unacceptable and you should contact the club and let them know. I'm sure they would take any such complaint very seriously and jump on any players who were out of line.

Shame to hear that this happened but hopefully it was a small group, as BC said you should contact the club and let them know what has happened.

That aside what a performance by the Colts to take apart the pre-match raging favourites in such clinical fashion. Well coached and disciplined total team performance, never let Claremont get their game going at any stage. CL rucks dominated the hitouts but young South never gave up and was able to give a contest all over the ground. Vanirsen is a gun as I said on another thread but not previously attracting AFL attention, after this finals campaign it's unlikely we will have him next season. Xavier Ellis in the commentary said he is a complete footballer, emphasising "footballer". Does it in and under and on the outside, elite skills by hand and foot and a big tank, so will be an asset to any AFL list. plenty of others in both teams that will attract attention, but plenty who wont get drafted but still good young men who will improve their respective clubs lists.
