Claremont were very very good, the level of pressure and aggression was top shelf plus their finishing was as well. They never gave us any room to create so our mids service to the forwards was poor. The forward line looked unbalanced with no tall target plus with it being bombed in the CL backs did it easy. Bolton and Mitchell knocked up getting possessions and they were a very slick even team effort. If they bring that every week they will be hard to beat.

We lost Rowan Powell with what looked like a knee for the second half, lost Marsh with a hammy in the last qtr so were down to 2 on the bench in the last so any fightback potential was reduced, ran the game out ok reducing the nearly 6 goal margin to 20pts at the end, but Cl were never really troubled. Dela looked proppy at the end and Horse copped a big hit in the last and had to leave the ground.

Even though we lost it was a really good hard contested game, made the VFL/AFL crap look exactly that.

Need Borchet at FF as a target so Sok can have more ability to roam and he wont be the sole targeted forward. Watched the last 3 qtrs of the ressies who had a good win, Young Breman looks a real quality player at CHF, tall rangy type with a nice left foot and a very good mark so in this shortened season we should be looking to getting some league games into him for the full 21 season. Borchet's younger bro looked good, big unit, bit of an awkward kicking style but effective, leads up well and has very good hands, so a couple of big key forwards the club needs to get games into for next year. Lewis Upton had a good game, very clever player reads the game well and very aware of where his team mates are, a nice left foot and hard as nails, so a few from yesterdays team will be under pressure after the bye which is timely give a couple of injuries and a number of boys that looked very sore.

Tiges were on fire, we had our chances but sides that play as good as cl did generally don't lose. They played with more hunger. Edwards-Baldwin will add fwd pressure and Fimmano should come in as he is a premiership player with pace

Yes Fim was another one who played really well in the 2's, so a few in the league might be looking over their shoulders, this short season should be looked at not just to win games but to see what we have in the stocks for a full '21 season. The next year or two will see a lot of the senior players looking to hang up their boots, Horse, Dela, Kitch, Lockyer & Lith to name just a few, thats a massive hole we will need to fill and dont expect the recruiting restrictions to come off for at least 3 or 4 years, so recruiting experience players at tier 2 level to cover these kind of blokes is not an option unless they were former subi players.

Haha DF, yes The Tiges were switched on from the first bounce, obviously Harris had not let the boys out for latte's and smashed avo baggels for several days before the game, they were ravenous!!

Agree about Edwin B and Fimm. Both would add a bit of pace and forward nouse.

Tigers were very hungry. More run.
