SH -- yep, a good effort by the whole side-- only Fred Williams would be among our great players in that side. I reckon it would have been the only time Naylor lost to Subi.

SH: thanks for the post on Alderman, read some good things about him over the years; as you said he had a hard job on Naylor that day

Who would be the best Subi player you have seen?

BH: all he had to do, gooch, was play straight, I don't know what was wrong with him. He certainly was not taking his MCC coach's manual to bed with him each night. He was a good bowler Terrance Malcolm Alderman.
