There is only one problem with Western Sydney. It is a soccer stronghold. No matter how successful they are, I cannot see GWS usurping the Western Sydney Wanderers in terms of support and passion any time soon. The AFL will have to keep giving them a leg up to keep them relevant in that part of the world because unlike the teams in Vic SA and WA, they cannot afford to bottom out.
