Are these just isolated incidents or is this just the tip of the iceberg? Is taking tax payers for a ride more widespread? Just like banks ripping off, lying and misleading it’s customers, public servants and politicians should face lengthy jail terms . Just a slap on the wrist and losing some privileges or losing their job and walking away without any further consequences just isn’t going to cut it.

First start by making these scumbags pay it back which they probably can’t so they should be treated like anyone who owes a debt. They are summonsed to court and an order made to sieze assets to recover the debt and declare bankrupt if necessary. Then for more serious offences a lengthy spell in jail. They should be treated as criminals and no less.

Now we have parliamentary privilege being used to try to stop the CCC from doing their job so these gutless wonders can avoid their embarrassing and appalling behaviour being exposed.

If I were a betting person, I'd be suggesting these are not isolated incidents. One only has to look how many people are getting ripped off by shire councils.
But that is a different story to this.
And monies wrongfully taken by public servants by whatever means should be paid back. And if not, why not!?

Unfortunately guys I reckon the number of cases that have been picked up in the last few weeks or so are just the tip of the iceberg.
Like the joker from the DOC who was rubber stamping works done under $50k for his and his mates own benefit to finance their horse racing empire to the tune of $25 million+ there will be a number of those similar across the board imho!
