Latest polling shows the gap suddenly closing..49 51 2PP.

Is Shorten about to self destruct with a set of poor policy choices on the brink of victory.

The tax changes are going over like a lead balloon, but why oh why did he bring boats back on the agenda? Labors biggest weak spot...

I think this is still a huge mountain for Morrison to climb, but he may out campaign Shorten in coming months.

It's a long way for the Libs to come back from and to be honest, I don't think they deserve to after the Turnbull fiasco but it looks like it might not be the landslide most were predicting only weeks ago. Supporting the medivac legislation before the election was a strategic error by Shorten that's for sure. Surely he could have convinced Phelps and her bleeding heart cronies to sit on it until after the election at which point it would have waltzed through parliament.

Yeah its a massive turn around, being on a 1 seat majority ( barely) means its a near impossible task, esp as there are a heap of seats under the 5% margin. The MT shambles was hopeless - basically after wrecking what they had they are slowing clinging back to where they were under MT, work that out...

Then factor in indie targeting seats like Abbotts, plus the - its time factor even going well most sides get around 2 terms and then its change over time add mix and repeat...

Weird on the Medivac, why bother with 3 months to go, as you say they could of unravelled the entire Soverign Border operation with full support of the greens, but he went early...a Hewson Fightback moment...

Baz it depends on a possible Labour win.If they win quiet well they won't be at the mercy of the Greens. If they only win narrowly with huge Greens backing.like Julia did. They will be under pressured on dismantling Sovereign Borders as the tip of the iceberg.

What is it about Labor leaders and their love of the taste of a good boogie or ear wax?

And that is why we can't let it happen. It will be disastrous for Australia.

DD I don't think Richard Denatalie is as crazy as the last Greens leader Chissy Milne.Hes also put Hanson-Young in her box.Dont much from her these days.Pretty sure this current leader has worked with the government in the senate on a fair bit of legislation. Even the Greens have a left-right party split.

Not as easy as bludgeoning companies into agreeing with union demands, is it Bill?
