Bazz, I'm not saying that Embley is telling all, but it gives a different insight to what the vultures of the media write. I'm also not saying that Chick is making it up, after all it appears that he was one of the main culprits, but he also has an axe to grind.
As to re-opening the case, to keep it fair and even, how far back do we go - how many "cold cases" do we re-open? And do we only look at drugs in footy, or do we include salary rorts yadda, yadda, yadda?

Now - that chairman of the time Michael Smith , guess who is leading the new stadium push at the WACA for footy & cricket????

Each & every single one of these culprits must be permanently removed from all sport with life bans , they have neglected their duty of care

These revelations now open the door to legal proceedings for compensation by likes of Chick & Cousins , common druggies - fantastic just fantastic!

Sadly the horse has already bolted on this saga....the days were good for all those involved...untouchable not only on field but also off it....lots of sorry excuses will come out no doubt...buck passing and all that....just ironic though that the coach of WCE at the time was a qualified pharmacist ....

Plenty still in very very sensitive denial about the saga, certain former WAFC officials all over social media trying to damage control same old same old habits die hard.

How do you figure that this opens the door for compo claims for the likes of Chick & Cuzzy bro? It's not like the Bombers where they were, for all intents and purposes forced to take the "suppliments", these guys did it of their own free will in their own time so must take full responsibility. These blokes were not kids, over paid primadonnas perhaps but grown men who made their own choices and as such must take full responsibility.

The "crimes" by the WCE coaching and management groups were that they knew about it and lied about it and covered it up, for that alone they should be heavily sanctioned. Will be interesting to see if any of them still in positions of power at WC have the moral and ethical decency to step aside from their positions, now that there appears to be irrefutable evidence of their knowledge of the endemic illegal recreational drug culture at WC. Hopefully the same information will be released about other clubs (Hawks etc)who were in a similar situation.... or is this a perfectly timed case of WA bashing on the eve of the season?

Interesting interview on ABC Radio today - with the bloke who was ASADA boss at the time wanting to know why the report was kept secret by the AFL?? Apparently they had an obligation to pass that info on. Also stated the often remarked "its not a PED" is rubbish , if its on a list of banned substances its not on.

Cocaine & Meth are not recreational drugs - they are narcotics & highly illegal in just about every civilised country.
They can also be used to aid & reduce recovery times - therefore performance enhancers in a sense
The WCE knew certain players were on the juice while in official capacities & that includes end of season trips
That there has been a report with evidence in some cases of failure to report , failure to provide any code of conduct and providing false statements in relation to drug use provides just some of what could be used in any court for a good lawyer
