Are you actually comparing the security situation in Syria and Saudi and saying they are the same.

Do you understand the US legislation? Congress passed the Obama list last year stating the countries listed could not adequately supply the details required for US Visa Form applications.

Trump signed the order to but them into affect.

No Bazza,I was just talking about the Civil Order you seem to appreciate in Saudi Arabia,one of the most Autocratic Nations on the Planet.And a Breeding ground for Terrorists.

People on the Left and Right Side of Western Politics would be in agreeance over that.Besides,I made no mention of any legislation.Just hoped for a certain sort of Civility between our Soft System and the harder system of the US's.

I never said Saudi was beacon of Civil rights, I said at least it has a SEMBLANCE of civil order, i.e. not in civil WAR or a failed state Syria Yemen Somalia or threatening to wipe out Israel ( I e Iran ).

yes mate...agree...although circumstances in the US and here are a bit different with the Republicans dominating at all levels of government and Turnbull on a knife edge. in saying that, whether you love or hate him, he certainly gets stuff done. it seems like the whingers have protested virtually every day for one reason or another since he won the election. I can't wait for the next thrill packed instalment.
